Weekly Update - have a good read!

October is unfolding with many tango activities keeping us busy.
Kasha and Grant come back for their final instalment next week and Labour weekend David Backler arrives from Melbourne to perform and hold some great classes.   Do you remember John and Felicity who taught here a few years ago?  They will also be performing at the Playhouse and Matthew and I will be teaching a fun free beginners class.  Then after the performance we will dance away the evening with an eclectic mix of nuevo and trad tangos by DJAM!  It's going to be fun!

MILONGA MADNESS CONTINUES  MARTINI GIRL, WORKSHOPS & ACCOMMODATION SPECIAL SUNDAY CLASS & AFTER PARTY

KASH & GRANTS WRAP UP MILONGA CLASS  Kasha and Grant head back to Nelson for the last instalment of their fabulous milonga course this Tuesday evening 14 October. It's not too late to come to their last two classes so long as you aren't totally new to milonga! If you are coming for the first time $40 will see you dancing for three hours of almost non-stop (we will have a 15 minute break at 7.30pm) milonga at Old St John's. See you there :-)

MARTINI GIRL 25 and 26 OCTOBER David Backler & Dianne Heywood-Smith from Sidewalk Tango, Melbourne excitedly come to town to present their fabulous cabaret show, Martini Girl. Call Nic on 540 2985 to book a table at the Playhouse for 6 people and only pay $20 each.  Check below for their workshops details for the Sunday classes.  Book in with me for the workshops. John & Felicity from Tango Pasion, Auckland are looking for accommodation for the Saturday night only. Does anyone have a spare room?  If so please contact me or them on dance@tango.co.nz

SUNDAYS at DUNDAS This Sunday class will start at 3.30 - 4.30pm $10 @ The Tango Room, 7 Dundas St We will continue with milonga traspie - but only for an hour!   Afterward please stay and join us for a birthday after party.  BYO a plate to share, we'll get the BBQ fired up and have a dance and celebration Tango style.   MONDAY CLASSES Old St John's 340 Hardy St $15 6pm - 7.15pm Beginners/Improvers "milonga traspie for beginners continues" 7.15pm - 8.45pm Intermediate/Advanced "giro technique" Beginners welcome anytime!
