THE NEXT FEW MONTHS of TANGO IN NELSON

Now that we have all recovered from the very successful Summer Tango in Nelson weekend (heaps of pictures on the Summer Tango in Nelson facebook page, with massive thanks to Frank from www.symboliser.com) we can all start getting excited about the other upcoming events in Nelson starting tomorrow night.

SEBASTIAN ARRUA
Sebastian Arrura is coming to town to teach workshops on the weekend of 4 - 6 April.  We have two special milongas while he is here and we would love to see you there!  The Welcome milonga on the Friday 4th April at Bar Berlin $10 and Graham's milonga on  Saturday night at Kush $10.  Please contact Juliette to book in for the weekend workshops on 021 143 2213.

ANZAC DAY WORKSHOPS & MILONGUITA
For those in town I have organised a Special workshop "Let's play …  with the free leg" to be followed by a milonguita on 25th April at Bar Berlin.  $15 for the class, $10 for the milonga or $20 all up for a great afternoon of dancing.

NO CLASS SUNDAY TECHNIQUE CLASS 11 MAY
I will be heading to Christchurch for Vuelvo Al Sur, a weekend of milongas in Christchurch.  If you want to find out more about this weekend contact Frank directly on symbolizer@me.com

CECILIA GONZALEZ 30 MAY - 2 JUNE
The talented and lovely Cecilia Gonzalez is coming to Nelson, Golden Bay actually, to teach at a Tango Retreat at Zatori.  CeciIia is a superb and highly respected teacher (a true maestra) and we are very privileged to have her in Nelson.  She has the rare ability of being able to teach through the different tango styles due to her extensive understanding of tango movement.  This is the only location she will come to in NZ and I am excitedly accepting registrations from out of towers already.

We can stay, eat and dance at Zatori (www.zatori.co.nz), or you may choose to stay elsewhere in Collingwood and join us for classes, milongas and dinners.   There are individual prices for workshops and milongas incase are you want to only come for part of the time.    Partners are essential as we can not call in any extra leads or follows at the last minute in Collingwood!

I would urge you all to consider coming over and experiencing this wonderful occasion.  I believe it is the first Tango Retreat to be held in NZ and I think it will be the first of many.  Some of you may know Tracey, a Nelson tanguera, who has moved to Collingwood to create "Zatori" (www.zatori.co.nz)

There are many options available for you this Queens BIrthday Weekend.  You could come over for two days of dancing and just stay one night at Zatori for as little as $30 a night (this is a tango only special).  Better still come for the entire weekend and immerse yourself with Cecilia Gonzalez at Zatori.  I have created a Cecilia Gonzalez Tango Retreat event page on facebook so you can see who is coming and don't forget to check out Tracey's Zatori Retreat page  to see updated photos on her "getting Zatori ready" project!

Well I think thats it for now.

Tuesday beginners class at Fairfield House is going really well and Sunday and Monday night classes continue as usual, with great energy and fun.
Thanks for all your support and keeping Nelson tangoing!
