Practica makes Perfect!

Fancy a casual Friday night dance after work in an artistic atmosphere where you can get a little tuition if you like?

Then head along to your new Practilonga.

Date: the first Friday of the month - 7 December
Location: The Art Zone, 26 Gloucester St, Nelson (opposite Repco)
Time: 6pm - 9pm
Cost: $10

WHAT TO EXPECT

Space: artistic, relaxed


Music: 80% Traditional, 20% Nuevo with an emphasis on one traditional orchestra

Floorcraft: it’s a practica but we respect the flow of dance

Style of dance: fluid embrace and nuevo


Dress: unimportant


Special Notes: Anne-Maree will be available from 6 - 7pm to guide you through any moves you want help with.  From 7pm - 9pm we dance and practice.

As the name suggests a practilonga is a combination of a milonga and a practica!  

• We respect the flow of dance and are free to practice and help each other to improve.  
• One traditional orchestra will be focussed on for the evening allowing you to really get an understanding of that orchestra so you can easily identify it next time you are at a milonga.
• Savoury platters, tea, coffee, juices and wine done will be available to buy
