Golden Bay Tango Weekend and Weekly Update

Thanks to all those who have been supporting the free pre-milonga classes - they have been really fun and very successful.  We have been spreading the loving tango vibe in Nelson! Special welcome to all the beginners who have recently joined the Monday class - it is great to have you as part of the the growing tango community. GOLDEN BAY TANGO WEEKEND 19-21 September WORKSHOP TOPICS SATURDAY 20 SEPT - Takaka Primary School, 70 Wadsworth St Workshop 1, 11am - 12.30pm  Integrity in the dance - keeping us honest! Exercises to build connection, revision of good technique of the basic moves to prepare us for the weekend’s workshops. LUNCH 12.30 - 1.30 Workshop 2, 1.30pm - 3pm  Dancing the elements.  A challenging and fun class which increases our vocab in a very clever way! SUNDAY 1 JUNE Workshop 3, 11 - 12.30 Moves to express our musicality. We explore moves on the dark side with our new use of the “elements “ from yesterday.

SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER VISITING TEACHERS Right on the back of the Golden Bay weekend we have a fun and talented couple coming to teach in Nelson.   You will want to be in Nelson and available the evenings of September 25 and October 14.  Classes will be progressive and they prefer people to book in for all classes to maximise learning. CLASSES SUNDAY CLASS @ The Tango Room NEW COURSE STARTING THIS SUNDAY 17 AUGUST - 14 SEPTEMBER!! Exciting 5 week intensive LEADING LADIES course. This will improve everyone's dance-ability, understanding and empathy for the dance.   Yes leaders please come and learn to follow as well. 5 week course, $75 Please try and commit to all 5 classes - as you can imagine the course is progressive.
