SUNDAY TECHNIQUE CLASSES

I have changed the venue for the Sunday Technique Classes over the winter months to the cosier Tango Room at 7 Dundas St.  There are also a few Sundays where there will be no class due to other activities and  also I have had a few requests to change the class time - so in a bid to keep everyone dancing the new class time will be 4.30 - 6pm! Of course on the weekend of the Verdict Milonga the start time will be 4pm.   Please come and join us over the winter months and keep warm tangoing. 

For your ease here's the list of Sunday Technique Class info up until the end of September.

20 April - NO CLASS

27 April - 4pm - 5.30 then Verdict Milonga

4 May - 4.30 - 6pm

11 May - NO CLASS 

18 May - 4.30 - 6pm

25 May - 4pm - 5.30 then Verdict Milonga

1 June - NO CLASS - Cecilia Gonzalez Tango Retreat in Golden Bay (Zatori)

8 June - 4.30 - 6pm

MONDAY CLASSES

All Monday classes continue through the year at Old St John's.

Easter Monday Class - One Class only at 6pm - 7.30pm  "Helping each other in the dance"

This is an Open Level class and it is a great opportunity for beginners and more advanced students to get together and dance.  All welcome.  $15

All other Mondays

Improvers - 6pm - 7.15pm, $15

Intermediate/Advanced - 7.15 - 8.45, $15

TUESDAY BEGINNERS CLASS

The beginners class at Fairfield House will complete its course on Tuesday April 29.  We will celebrate with a little free milonguita (with a cuppa & cake) at Fairfield House afterwards to congratulate the beginners and to encourage them to keep dancing!  Please come :-)

The beginners will then be invited to join the Monday night Improvers class at 6pm starting 5 May.

MILONGAS (SOCIAL DANCING)

Please come and improve your dancing at our various milongas around town.  Here are the details in a nut shell and flyers are attached.  Please note the usual third Friday of the month Milonga held at the Masonic Hall will become the third Saturday of the month Milonga at Bar Berlin with a free beginners class before hand over winter.  So please tell all your friends about the free classes and let's see if we can get some more interested dancers to join us over winter in our Winter Milonga Series!

CECILIA GONZALEZ TANGO RETREAT IN GOLDEN BAY
QUEENS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND 30 May - 2 June
I have had an overwhelming response to this upcoming event and it is sure to be one to remember.  Perhaps the first tango retreat in NZ …. will you be here?  I have dancers booked in from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and all over NZ.  I still have places for dancing couples if you are interested - so send me an email and book in to take advantage of Cecilia's renowned teaching.
